With over 20 years of experience in higher education, Dr. Pos Vwj has taught, trained, and mentored many in developing intercultural competence. Dr. Vwj has over 10 years of experience teaching adult learners, college students, and high school students about race, gender, intersectionality, and social inequality. He is a DEI content expert and is author of the book Assimilation and the Gendered Color Line and numerous peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Vwj also has over 5 years of experience in leadership roles with experience in developing DEI strategic plans, professional development of employees, developing and reviewing policies, coordinating responses to institutional/local/national crises, campus/organizational climate, and compliance with Title IX and nondiscrimination policies.
